LONG TERM CARE PLANS (LTC OR LTCI)
Long-term care insurance can offset the cost of long-term care. Long Term Care Insurance generally covers in-home care and community-based care which is normally not paid for by private health insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid. Individuals who require long-term home care are unable to perform at least two basic activities of daily living (ADLs) and or (IADL’s) including but not limited to, bathing, dressing, eating, incontinence, toileting, and ambulation, or have cognitive impairment.
If you or your loved one needs assistance with ADLs or IADLs, we can work with your LTC (Long Term Care Insurance) carrier to get you qualified and approved for service. The home care services Cura Home Health Inc. provides using LTC benefits follow the Care Plan approved by the LTC carrier. Services provided are flexible and based on the client’s individual needs and requirements.
